Stroke Support Group
We meet the fourth Thursday of each month from 1:00 – 2:30 PM in the Connally Memorial Medical Center Large Conference Room.
Stroke affects patients long after they have been discharged from the hospital. To help with that challenge and the adjustments that may need to be made, we offer a Stroke Support Group.
- The Stroke Support Group provides stroke survivors and their families and caregivers with relevant information regarding stroke survival and prevention. It is a venue to share challenges, solutions and milestones with each other and an opportunity for mutual encouragement on the journey after stroke.
- Each meeting has light refreshments, an educational component, a discussion, and an opportunity to share experiences.
