With a recent focus on growth, Connally Memorial has set its sights on expanding the availability of quality care within the community. In just a short period of time, the organization has grown to boast four specialists with experience from all over the world.

Dr. Jeffrey Faulkner, an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, has amassed a variety of experience through his years in the US Army. Dr. Faulkner was appointed the Chief of Otolaryngology at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2002, and culminated his military career as the Chief of the Division of Surgery at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, receiving the Legion of Merit for his contributions to the Army. With experience gained from deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Dr. Faulkner practices a broad spectrum of General Otolaryngology with special experience in facial trauma and reconstruction.

Dr. Mosaab Hasan, a Gastroenterologist, is board certified in Gastroenterology and earned his medical doctorate from the Damascus University School of Medicine, Syria, which he followed up with a residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is fully trained in all aspects of GI care including colonoscopy, colon cancer screening, gallbladder disease, pancreatic problems, biliary therapeutics, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis, heartburn/acid reflux, indigestion, weight loss and liver disease.

Dr. Devraj Nayak, a Cardiologist at Connally Memorial Medical Center, earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery at Topiwala National Medicine College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital University in Bombay, India. After completing a rotating internship throughout Bombay, India, he completed his residency at the University Hospital of New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. With many awards and publications to his name, Connally Memorial is proud to have worked with Dr. Nayak over the course of the last few years.

Dr. Leonardo Profenna practices Hyperbaric Medicine with Connally Memorial’s Advanced Wound Care Center. Dr. Profenna gained experience worldwide throughout his career with the US Air Force. While stationed in Aviano, Italy, he became a flight surgeon. He completed a second and third residency in Aerospace and Preventive Medicine at Brooks City-Base and in 2009, he graduated from the USAF Hyperbaric Fellowship at Wilford Hall. In addition to experience gained practicing with the military in several European countries, Dr. Profenna is an advanced wound care physician who has over 750 flying hours in 17 different aircraft and over 150 combat flying hours under his belt.
