Biography
Dr. Ana Motta is a board-certified family medicine physician committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages. Her approach emphasizes preventive care, lifestyle medicine, and individualized treatment plans to support long-term health and wellness.
Dr. Motta completed her Family Medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Guadalajara, Mexico, and completed her undergraduate studies at New Mexico State University.
Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, nutrition, and patient education. She has presented on topics such as cancer prevention, healthy eating, and vitamin C in iron deficiency anemia. In 2023, she was recognized as Outstanding Intern of the Year and has also received recognition for community service from the Government of the State of Colima, Mexico.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Motta is dedicated to serving diverse patient populations. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
In her time away from her practice, Dr. Motta enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children.
