Dr. Carlos Caro, MD

CMMC Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Carlos Caro is a skilled and dedicated family medicine physician with extensive experience in urgent care, primary care, and Medicare Advantage settings. As the lead physician of a high-performing 5.7-star Medicare Advantage clinic, he oversaw a team of three mid-level providers, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

Dr. Caro earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2015 from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, followed by a Family Medicine Residency at UTRGV-DHR in 2019. Prior to his medical training, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology at Yale University in 2001.

With board certification in family medicine, Dr. Caro was proficient in a wide range of common office and urgent care procedures. He held certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS and had experience with electronic medical records such as eCW, Cerner, and Experity. His fluency in medical Spanish further enhanced his ability to connect with diverse patient populations.

Dr. Caro previously served as a Lead Physician at WellMed in McAllen, Texas, where he provided compassionate, patient-centered care while managing clinic operations and overseeing nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Additionally, he worked as a Locums Urgent Care Physician at CareNow Urgent Care, where he treated a high volume of patients and performed common urgent care procedures.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Caro has a deep passion for aviation, archery, literature, and travel. His commitment to service extended to his time in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Combat Medic from 2002 to 2006, further solidifying his dedication to patient care and leadership.

Dr. Caro is a proud resident of Wilson County and remains committed to serving his community with excellence in healthcare and clinical leadership.

Dr. Trini J. Garza is a highly experienced board-certified family medicine physician with a dedicated career spanning 15 years.

Dr. Garza graduated with a Doctor of Medicine Degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He then pursued his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine Via Christi in Wichita, KS. Dr. Garza’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UTRGV in Edinburg, TX.

Beyond his medical career, Dr. Garza is known for his commitment to ministry. He serves as a Minister for local United Pentecostal Churches and has extended his ministry work to Paraguay, South America.

In his leisure time, Dr. Garza enjoys quality moments with his family. They maintain an active lifestyle by exercising with their dogs, mountain biking, freshwater fishing, and target shooting.

Dr. Enrique Iglesias is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician from South Texas. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from UT Health in San Antonio, Texas. He is experienced in a wide variety of clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient, nursing home and home care visits. Dr. Iglesias cares for patients of all ages from newborn to geriatrics and has a special interest in sports medicine.  In his spare time, Dr. Iglesias enjoys saltwater fishing, target shooting and fitness. Dr. Iglesias is excited to reside in Wilson County and serve the patients of our community.

Dr. Ana Motta is a board-certified family medicine physician committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages. Her approach emphasizes preventive care, lifestyle medicine, and individualized treatment plans to support long-term health and wellness.

Dr. Motta completed her Family Medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Guadalajara, Mexico, and completed her undergraduate studies at New Mexico State University.

Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, nutrition, and patient education. She has presented on topics such as cancer prevention, healthy eating, and vitamin C in iron deficiency anemia. In 2023, she was recognized as Outstanding Intern of the Year and has also received recognition for community service from the Government of the State of Colima, Mexico.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Motta is dedicated to serving diverse patient populations. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

In her time away from her practice, Dr. Motta enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children.

Dr. Michael Snyder is a board‑certified family medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience in adult primary care, urgent care, inpatient medicine, and rural health. He completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University and his residency at UC Davis in Merced. Dr. Snyder brings a strong background in prevention‑focused care, clinical leadership, and patient education, and he is now proudly seeing patients through the CMMC Medicare Advantage Program.

What Is the CMMC Medicare Advantage Program?

The CMMC Medicare Advantage Program is designed to support eligible Medicare patients with coordinated, prevention‑focused primary care close to home. Through this program, patients receive personalized visits, ongoing wellness support, and improved access to services that help them stay healthy and independent. Our participating physicians work closely with patients to manage chronic conditions, address health concerns early, and provide the guidance needed for long‑term wellness.
